SKETCHBOOK

The sketchbook will serve as a project grade. Assignments will be given to students during art class. It is the responsibility of the student to stay organized, keep on track and take-home their sketchbook assignments for homework if they are not completed during art class.

Sketchbooks should be at least (8 1/2" X 11") ~ (9" X 12") is preferred. There will be a sketchbook check at the end of the quarter that will count as a project grade.

Students are responsible for keeping a clean and organized sketchbook that holds all hand-outs, notes, and sketches (in and out of class).

The sketchbooks are intended to be re-used each year.
Therefore, a spiral-bound or hard-bound sketchbook is suggested because it is more sturdy and less likely to fall apart.
